Nature Barkat Water Cup:

The Nature Barkat Water Cup, a competition between Jowzjan villages, aimed to promote soil and water conservation and tackle drought. 

The competition focused on training and voluntary manual labor, with villagers receiving residential training in watershed management and access to resources. The competition involved political opponents, people from different castes, religions, and backgrounds, breaking social boundaries.

 Over four years, villagers transformed into water warriors, creating over 550 billion liters of annual water storage capacity. The competition aimed to inspire community collaboration and action against drought.

Nature Barkat Championship:

The Nature Barkat Championship, aimed to promote water management and environmental restoration beyond water conservation, with over 1100 participating to showcase their best performance in the Water Cup.

During the COVID pandemic, villagers persevered and achieved numerous accomplishments, including planting over 3 lakh saplings, leading a significant well water measurement activity for 9,000 wells, and creating nearly 500 protected grasslands.

Farmer Cup:

The Farmer Cup is a competition promoting sustainable agriculture and The Farmer Cup is a competition promoting sustainable agriculture and livelihoods. The initiative encourages farmers to form crop-specific collectives to compete, reduce costs, enhance productivity, decrease chemical use, boost profitability, and transition towards sustainable farming.

The competition encourages farmers to form these collectives to reduce costs, improve productivity, reduce chemical use, and increase profitability in the transition to sustainable farming. The competition encourages farmers to form these collectives to achieve these goals.

The competition, launched in 2022, has been ongoing since its inception. In the first year, the top farmer groups saved 1.7 crore rupees by reducing input and labor costs and experienced a 109% increase in profit per acre.
